"The Classic American Landscape"

For many 21st Century Photographers, it was the work of the old master photographers of the first half of the 20th Century that inspired a deep desire to learn more about photography and what actually goes into making a great photograph. For me, it was the "Classic American Landscape Image," perfected by these old masters, which was responsible for awakening a desire to learn more about the Art of Photography as well as the locations they depicted.

It is with this collection, I've found I have traveled full circle, and returned to the inspiration of my roots.

Collected throughout the American West, The September Collection is my attempt at paying tribute to those early pioneers in the world of Landscape Photography. I wanted to create a series of Black and White photographs that convey a sense of timelessness, and yet pays tribute to where photography started out and where it is today.
