What is a Deluxe Photography Tour? Photo tours are multi-day
intensive adventures into some of the West's most amazing locations.
Locations that offer great photographic potential are a must for
these tours. Unlike the Fundamental Workshop Series, my
Photo Tours are not heavily based in classroom curriculum
instruction. The main emphasis of a photo tour is to explore
amazing locations and to come away with some great images along the
way.
All levels of photographers are welcome on my tours - from the total beginner to the traveling pro that just wants to be put in front of some of the West's best places for photography. Why should you attend a photo tour? Because great images are out there just waiting for you! |

Do you want to learn how to capture better images, but don't want to share an instructor with 12 or more other people?
I'm pleased to offer Private 1-on-1 Photography Workshops. These workshops are fully customized to fit your ability and shooting preferences . Where would you like to have your personal photography lesson? - the Oregon Coast, California's Redwood Forests, the Puget Sound and Cascade Mountains of Washington, the High Deserts of Utah, or the rugged Rocky Mountains of northern Montana? - it is up to you!
For the beginning photographer, we'll begin in the field with a step by step tutorial that will help maximize your potential for creating better images and in a variety of overall shooting conditions. We will cover everything from camera functions and settings to aspects like lighting, metering, filters, composition, etc... Instruction here is done totally IN THE FIELD - where you want to capture better images.
Intermediate and advanced photographers can rely on as much or as little instruction from me as they wish. Maybe you just want to visit the American West and explore some of the richness of the area with another photographer as a guide. I can put you in front of some the most amazing scenery the region has to offer. Remember, our schedule is fully customizable - let me know where you would like to capture your next great image.
I've kept my rates reasonable at only $400/day + plus expenses for a maximum group size of 4. Introducing people to the world of photography is important to me. Photography has given me so much, I want to make it affordable and fun for new people as well as the seasoned veteran to learn more about something that could be a wonderful new addition to their life. Private and Custom Workshops for larger group sizes are also available. Contact me for more info. |
